Want to Weave and Eat?
I am teaming up with the wonderful Wanda of Kinnow Cutlery who has so many talents that I CAN'T EVEN!!!! One of them is her flabbergasting cooking skills and she has quite the following through The Shared Supper Club, where she creates luscious food fuelled experiences.
Introducing the Weaving and Foodie Experience
Wanda and I want to give you a special weekend away in a lovely Art Deco Katoomba flat in the stunning Blue Mountains, 2 hours outside Sydney. The weekend is all about you and your creative expression, no stress and no distractions. You will be greeted on Friday evening with a welcome meal and a meet and greet with Sky, Wanda and the other participants. Over the duration of Saturday and Sunday we will look after everything while you spend two days and nights weaving your own bespoke wall hanging using Sky's large custom bamboo loom. Sky will be on hand to show you advanced techniques and guide you through the process of creating a woven art piece.
To spoil and sustain you over the weekend, Wanda will be whipping up an amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as tantalising afternoon teas. Can you think of anything more divine? I can’t!

WHO SHOULD DO THIS?
This two day workshop experience is suitable for beginners or those that have done my weaving workshop previously. As the group is small I am able to adapt to the individual needs of students and provide intensive guidance and tuition.
A large wall hanging approx L80cm x W45cm
There is an opportunity for you to bring something of sentimental value that you want to honour by incorporating it into a weaving. For example you might consider bringing your wedding dress, your husband's old unused ties, your kid's baby clothing. Anything you can't bear to throw away. OR you can just bring yourself as I will have lots of materials you can play and create with.
